JMarie & Co. Publishing was founded in honor of Janice Marie, a woman whose love of books was fierce, endless, and contagious. She believed in the power of a well-told story, the healing in a single sentence, and the way a good book could change everything. Her name is stitched into the soul of this company—every page, every cover, every voice we uplift is a living tribute to her.

At JMarie & Co., we don’t publish trends—we publish truth. We are a proudly independent, Black-owned publishing house committed to stories that burn bright, bloom wild, and bleed real. Stories that challenge silence, honor complexity, and celebrate reclamation in all its forms.
